If youre talking about overall its a c-, he continued to be a regular season stats guy.

However, he did prove to all of us that he could still play. A lot of folks thought he was done three years ago. He deserves serious props/ an A for that.

Averages to a B :yeshrug:

How is he a regular season guy when he got to the superbowl his playoff run up until that suberbowl was great people need to stop with this regular season shyt

My bad didn't notice but even then that was 3 superbowl apperences there's nothing regular season about that it ain't like he's Romo or rivers they rarely go to the playoffs

Everything manning does in in the context of a comparison to Tom Brady. If he wins 50, this is a different discussion.

Yeah. He did well for Denver. But he's too :flabbynsick:to get them that ring:yeshrug:
He certainly won't do it alone with his arm but he's capable of making plays. He should've had 4 TDs against New England (overthrew Sanders and a WR dropped a TD)

Still got love for Manning.
They try to bury him for choking in the playoffs. Yet hes's 3-1 against playoff hero Brady in AFCCGs.*
A+ for me if he rides out with this ring.

*Playoff wins are a team accomplishment

he was bounced out of the first round (that he played in) in 2 of his 4 seasons at Denver despite having the best homefield advantage (thin air) and superior teams each time.

As it stands, his career in Denver (after he loses in 10 days) will be a B- given the expectations surrounding his decision to join them.

all this says is he had homefield advantage in 3 games versus Brady.

And despite all that, Brady has looked better in his losses than Peyton looked in his. Brady lost by 4, 10, and 2 points while Peyton lost by 10 and 17.

This is why these QB narratives are BS.

The story was that Brady owned Manning in the playoffs because he started 2-0. Now after taking 3 straight losses you want to talk about home field advantage and margin of victory.

If playoff wins get discounted due to home field advantage, please realize that 15 of Brady's 22 playoff wins came at home. Also realize that Brady has never beaten Manning in postseason w/o HFA either.

Stop moving the goal posts. I need someone to explain to me how Brady who is so clutch and amazing in the postseason, has a losing record and keeps getting sonned by Manning who is supposed to be such a playoff choker. Manning/Brady are both AFC QBs so the AFC CG is as big a stage as it gets. Why is the choker 3-1 against mr clutch?

:mindblown:

Gonna have to cook up a better answer than HFA. Or we're going to need to throw these bullshyt QB storylines in the trash and realize that football is a team game. :camby:

Their best team was 2012 and Fox sabotaged that playoff game against the Ravens.

I'd give Peyton a B. Still got to a Super Bowl, won an MVP and revived the franchise.
Came in here just to say this. Rahim Moore plays his position and I guarantee we blow out the 49ers in the Super Bowl. I'll never get over that game :to:

Well there are advanced statistics that prove Brady is a superior QB (reg season and playoffs each) but you seem to have your mind made up already.

Denver has a different homefield advantage from any other NFL team (or any sports team in any other city really) due to its stadium altitude. Any scientist will tell you it is biologically the biggest HFA in sports. But something tells me you believed the Deflategate reports and therefore disregarded the Ideal Gas Law as "bullshyt"

Lord...

With Ward and Stewart back there now... it really shows how bad Moore was. Like, atrocious. That's my opinion not even counting the massive fukk up against the Ravens.

I give him a C+ maybe a B-

Year 1: very good performance in regular season, preformed very good in division games, but in playoffs...lost to Ravens in overtime.

Year 2: again very good performance in regular season, did well against new england in AFCCG. However, ended season with EPIC FAIL in SB48.

Year 3: good overall performance in regular season. 1 and done in playoffs against their kryptonite the Colts and Luck...did not preform well in that game.

Year 4: offense had a lot of woes this year....anemic offense and too turnover prone for a guy of his caliber. Defense bailed their O out in a bunch of games....even to "lesser" opponents like Browns, Raiders (they on come up tho), etc. Threw 4 picks against KC and got benched. However, in playoffs he did just enough to win games. Should've did better against Steelers with their injuries to key players like Brown. He didn't turn over ball against New England. He didn't do great but he didn't do bad either. He was aight. Also he replacing Brock in the last regular season game against chargers did seem to bring a much needed spark to O and running game. I can tell earlier during season that he needed to take time to get used to Kubiak's offense. I was wondering was he a good fit for that system.

I'm very curious as to how Peyton and Denver will preform against Carolina.

My old barber was a Peyton fan and he made a good point. Peyton never had a coach since Dungy. Caldwell and Fox wasn't as good (well it seems) and this may be a factor as to why Peyton didn't preform well in those SB's against Saints and Hawks.

Still give his Denver performance a C+/B-.
