Title.

I’m 22, and currently, I am on the job hunt and finishing up school. I’m learning how big networking is as well, because I’m getting some crazy looks just because I know so and so.

I am investing and saving pretty heavily and really wanna do any/ everything I can to make more $$ with my $$.

Regarding finding a place, it’s likely I’ll be going back for a few months after I find a job in order to stack $$ and find an actual place.

I’m very big into self improvement and fitness. Everyday I’m trying to become more disciplined, because I’m finding that discipline seems to be a key to a good life.

I just want to keep all of the momentum I have currently to keep building. If there’s something I need to be doing as a young man, I’d like to know other things I can do now to become better tomorrow, next week and so on

Make sure you don't spend you're whole life in your 20s just working and doing nothing else. Make sure to have a little fun and experience some things, like traveling (especially out of the country if you're in America). When you get to your thirties you might wind up wishing you did more in your 20s. Obviously keep that budget tight, it's dope to actually be able to have a house before your 30. It'll still be acceptable to have roommates, but in this case, they'll be paying you rent and helping with your mortgage

Companies just don't hand out good jobs just because you have a degree. Rejection is part of the game.

Live at home or with roommates as long as possible. I'm talking years. Once you live by yourself it's hard to go back to the roommate thing.
Been thinking of living w a roommate, I’m assuming you did it. Did you already know the person, or how did it work out?

Right now, I’m not sure who I’d live with but I wanna save that $$

Split your paycheck into multiple bank accounts.

Savings
Bills
Discretionary Money/Money to burn on whatever

Save 10% and put 5% in 401k.

Save money until you get a years salary and put the rest into investments.

Don't let you bills/debt to income ratio go over 40% of your monthly income. Use the other 40-45% on whatever you want.

Take chances and travel like crazy until you hit 30.

Don't settle down until you're older than 30.

make money work for you as early as possible either through investments or a side hustle on top of your job
