still mad the Roots never won aoty, hopin nas gets his but i have this feeling drake's goin to win.
I'm hoping Kendrick gets his shine next year, but once Meek sells a milly it'll be difficult

I'm not saying Drake can't win but I have a feeling they will pass him up cause he's young. This might be the Vets year as far as Hip Hop. The Roots already have 4 Grammy's:

To me The Roots have one of the most underrated catalogs in Hip Hop history. People really need to listen to their albums.

how they didnt win for either Game Theory or How I Got Over is a damn shame, i would think the Grammy's of all places would give that recognition but they tend to go for the more popular guy (the carter III winning one year)

No..it's not...the Grammys are voted by the National Arts of Recording and Science...which means a majority of them can give a fukk about record sells or how hot they are on the radio...if the music has good quality..then they will win..
Look at Adele..Lauryn Hill..Santana..Alicia Keys..Beyonce...etc
If this was a popularity contest NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and the rest of them could have HAD Grammys the way they were popping...but the don't
Remember when that one chick beat Bieber & Drake for best no artist?...yeah me neither..
Either way..quality matters when it comes to Grammys..
