Drake wont win best album.. any other year but this. Drakes album was solid as fukk, but I dont think the Grammy peeps have it still with the momentum.

I mean Im actually shocked "Take Care w/Rhihana aint get nominated. Thats why I feel the Grammy peeps just said its worthy but not better.

Im so proud that Daughters got nominated. Black Radio shytted on this song so bad.

That's the reason why i feel Undun might just sneak in and steal it...

again...The Grammys don't give a fukk about record sales and popularity..the same way the Oscars can give a fukk about how much the movie made at the box office....all that matters is the quality....and if they feel it's good..then u will get nominated..and/or win...:manny:

But I still admit..the people who votes for this shyt are slow as fukk to catch up with the times...

Undun was a great album......but it wasn't the best Recent Roos album ( How I Got Over takes that title currently) and it wasn't better than LIG.

And I see where your argument is coming from, but you CANNOT say that there isn't a type of popularity contest or bias amongst the history of the Grammy's when Lil Wayne and Eminem have Grammy's for severely underwhelming projects and Nas doesn't (not even a nomination for Stillmatic, Gods Son, or Distant Relatives is a travesty)

This what I'm trying to tell people, they think Drake is going to win cause he sold the most. It's a misconception that only the highest selling albums win the grammy's. Frank Ocean and Miguel LP only sold "OK" but look at their noms. A lot of the times the Grammy love to go with the lower seller to prove they look for "Quality". The Reviews for "Take Care" have gone down over the last year, it started hot but as more people heard it it went down. I'm not saying it's a bad album but it's not as "Critically Acclaimed" as many people think.

These awards shows are about Momentum. Right now I think NaS is a true dark horse. He finally made an LP the critics really loved (In the white media) I mean remember this same Grammy board nominated "Slave and the Master". For "Daughters" to get a nod is huge, and it got 2 Nods. "Cherry Wine" with Amy also is a strong possibility. NaS could walk away with 2 of 4 nods. But I think he finally wins one. Based on the Success "Take Care" had you would of thought it would of gotten way more nods than it did.

For people thinking it's 100% about sales, remember Nicki had the highest selling Rap album and Single this year and got ZERO nods. The biggest irony about Nicki not getting any Nods was 2 years ago when she was beefing with Kim she went on Angie's show and said:

"She jumped out the window, in this business you don't pick fights cause you never know"

She should of followed her own advice, she picked a fight in front of the world with a Singing Legend in Mariah and a Rock Legend with Steven Tyler. Both Mariah and Steven are on the Grammy board. Remember the nominees are decided by Nicki own musical peers and they all rejected her. Her getting ZERO nominations is a clear sign that her ego needed to get check and the industry checked her.

It was also a clear sign that her music is Grade A Trash:trash:

It's funny Cash Money submitted her for 4 Nominations:

Best Rap Album - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded
Best Rap Solo Performance: Starships
Best Rap Song: Beez in the Trap
Record of the Year: Starships

I think Nicki was thinking "Starships" for sure was going to get nominated. But the fact is she went Pop and the Pop field was crowded. Has she stayed Hip Hop maybe she would of got a nod. I never seen an album get forced on the Public to be a success as "Roman Reloaded", they gave her a Platinum award when she was barely past 500k, they re-released it and it still flopped. "Starships" was an international hit but turned off Hip Hop fans. Peter Rosenberg is laughing somewhere, lol.

Exactly. And it wasn't just that she went Pop, like you said it was FORCED Pop, bubble gum Pop. Lowest Common Denominator Pop. Sugar Water Pop. Pop that is to not be respected by anyone over the age of 12. I don't even think the Grammy's, as biased as they've been known to be to what's "popular" have ever given Grammy's to Britney Spears, Nsync, etc. THAT'S the kind of rap pop that Nicki was spewing bruh:scusthov:
