I don't even mean the quality of the songs, it just seemed repetitive, not as many songs as previous versions.

"Top Down" by Swizz Beats and "Arab Money" by Busta Rhymes was the two songs that always played when I got in any car.

That's the only reason besides the Joell joint that I even tuned into the Beat. I was always riding a top down as well.

gta 4 went from overrated to overhated.

i enjoyed it. could it have had more? yeah but it was still a great game with a great storyline imo

I'm looking forward and waiting for this game, the only problem I have is that if this game takes place in 2012 the soundtrack is gonna be asscheeks... that was the main issue I had with GTA IV was the subpar music. One of the things that makes this series fun is the soundtrack that plays when I do missions and they done a tremendous job picking the right music for GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas. GTAIV had a ton of current wack nikkas that took away a lot of the aubiance of the gameplay. With GTAV being back in Los Santos something tells me they gonna have some wack ass nikkas like dem Odd Future goons and other current wack nikkas playing on the radio and I'm not looking forward to that... that's just my two cents.

you probably aint never been to LA, but them nikkas get no radio play... most LA rappers dont get radio play for that matter.

given that there has been 20 years between the time settings in the game, would lead you to believe they're gonna have oldies stations playing that death row shyt and more funk and shyt like that than most of this new shyt.

the old school hip hop station was piff on gta4

the modern hip hop had to be modern and it came out in like 08 so obv i would be absolute trash

The only hiphop stations I fuk with from GTA games were the two rap stations from San Andreas (One focused on eastcoast 80s/early 90s shyt and the other was strictly 80s/90s westcoast shyt)

In GTAIV/LAD/BOGT I usually roll with the reggae or oldschool soul music stations.
