Word, didn't respect that. There was no need to say anything about Mel during that situation. Dude didn't even know who Cowboy was. I disagree with Mel often on a lot of things but he deserves his respect as one of the greatest MC's ever. He gets hurt in lists because of a lack of material but as an MC he is up there. Was great in so many ways. Melle Mel is STILL better than Joe Budden in 2014 by the way. And Budden has at least 1 song I think is classic and superb but Mel was one of the true originators and innovators. It's disrespectful to downplay that. You ask Chuck D, or Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz or even KRS-One and they will tell you about Mel. They innovated in so many ways, played a huge part in building Hip Hop. Mel in his zone was just phenomenal. And word, disgrace to me Eminem was a number 1 seed and some of the others who weren't, but it's Vibe so....
