I think when someone takes their team to the conference finals, takes the eventual champs to 7 games and makes some game winners in that series, they are bound to get overrated a bit the following pre-season. It seems Simmons and rose are banking on George to make the next step but I honestly don't see it. With his D and all around game a shot chart doesn't tell the whole story with George but I don't think he is the sort of top level offensive juggernaut that some ppl want him to be this year. He's steady from all over the court and I expect his inside game to get better as he starts to get some star treatment from the refs but otherwise I don't see h being anywhere near "top 2 forward status"

When people say George is better than Melo and a top 3 forward, they're also taking his defense into account. The only perimeter defender in the league better than George is Bron.
