PG has to be the most overrated player in the nba. You're right, they're crowning this kid already. Call me when he averages over 25ppg(hell, even 20) in a season before we start calling him the 3rd best SF in the league. Get his low ppg and shytty FG% the fukk outta here.

Why is that far-fetched? Pierce averaged 19ppg on 50% FG shooting the second half of the season. Pierce isn't going to be drawing double teams anymore, and he's going to get a lot of open looks. Pierce averaging those kind numbers isnt far-fetched at all. Hs is Paul Pierce for peeks sake.
I'll leave it with this, If Pierce is driving to the lane the way he did against Mia the last pre-season game, it's a wrap for the league. Ain't nobody fukking with the Nets with Pierce driving to the hole like it's the mid 00s.

There's always a new dude every season that people get behind... George was that dude last season. Paul George is the Indiana version of Luol Deng. I hate and despise Melo's game like the next person, but with Pierce being old, Melo is clearly that third SF.

The 2001 Celtics isn't even one of the top 5 teams Pierce has ever played on. In fact those early 00s Celtics teams had some of the worst collection of talent in the nba, yet Pierce still managed to carry them to an ECF appearance.
