90s - rap, r&b, pop (tho 00's pop might have been better), rock/alt/grunge/emo, "adult contemporary" and the last hurrah from big 80's acts was all dope,
I see everyone is saying the 70s, and it definitely was tough, but every genre was hitting in the 90s and hip-hop ain't exist in the 70s. I can't discount those facts.
