The Real Titletown
my football history game is still somewhat surface level so im just gonna go with the stuff I followed in real-time from '91 to now.
listed 7 teams, in case people object to the two that didn't win it all.

'91 redskins
'92 & '93 cowboys
'94 49ers

lemme stop right there, as a old school bills fanatic, the super bowl used to be depressing. and what makes it worse is that people make fun of the 4 super bowl losses, but don't stop to realize that they played against all-time great teams in 3 of em.

'98 Vikings
'99 rams
'04 & '07 patriots

yea yea I know that '98 & '07 didn't win the chip. but one fluke play doesn't diminish an entire season of greatness.

Your list is very good. I agree with a lot of it, especially the teams you listed at the bottom.

07 pats
13 hawks
13 Broncos
13 niners
15 broncos(crazy how they went from the worse defense in the L in 13 to the best in 15 and the same on offense)

We’re all really dope teams in recent memory

Colts had a Bunch of really good teams during the 2000s. The defense was bytches tho

The 07 giants? They weren't even close to being the best giant team the last 30 years. 98 Broncos, 93 Cowboys, 04 Patriots were all better than that team.
I mean they beat the only 16-0 regular season team that blew everybody out and broke all the records.

That giants defense was next level :patrice: lowkey amazing. Probably the best dline of all time.

No denying that defense in the playoffs. Offensively though...eh. Good team and finished 10-6. But better than the three teams I mentioned? Hell better than the 86 Giants? Blew the Niners out, shutout the Skins in the conference title, and then dominated the Super Bowl against Denver.

It’s the real

Breh really said the 10-6, 1988 49ers. :russ:

I blame a few things

1.) It was a team that was sandwiched between two memorable dynasties in history, 80’s 49ers and 90’s Cowboys.

2.)They didn’t have A HOF qb. Mark Rypien was a monster that season and was better that year than a lot of the qbs on teams that compare to the 91 skins but because he had a mediocre overall career people hold that against the team

3.) They weren’t as flashy as other teams and didn’t have the household names like them either. It also doesn’t help that they really don’t have members of the team in our faces on national tv propping them up all the time. Ditka was ESPN countdown and couldn’t go 5 minutes without bringing up his 85 bears, Troy Aikman as an announcer/Emmitt/Irvin as commentators with their cowboys teams, don’t get me started about Mercury Morris with the 72 dolphins...:mjlol:

For sure

The NFL in the 1980s was about larger than life players. The Slurs did not have that and it hurts them in all-time rankings, particularly that 1991 team that is statistically one of the best 2-3 teams in NFL history.
