They need a 30 for 30, badly. Amazing football team..i miss watching them as a kid. And another thing thats constantly overlooked is how badly they smoked their playoff opposition. Without looking it up, they spanked Atlanta, Detroit and Buffalo. The Superbowl was way more lopsided than the score indicated. They took their foot of the gas. Anothee overlooked fact is the division they reigned over. The defending SB champ, NY Giants, the upstart Cowboys who would go to win 3 out of tbe 4 next Superbowls and an Eagles team which posessed one of the great defenses of all time. All in one division!!!!!
They had one of the toughest schedules of all time for a super bowl team as well.

They beat five or six 10+ win teams.

I hate sounding like old white sports radio guy but if they had someone who danced while scoring touchdowns, they’d have more attention.

And yes, they annihilated everyone that postseason.

Its crazy.how low profile they were. But i clearly remember Charles Mann doing the Hungryman commercials. Darrell Green is Darrell Green. Clark/Monk/Sanders is one of the elite WR trios ever. You had the Hogs, Ernest Byner redemption story.

'94 49ers had way more talent than those Skins.
Great!

The '91 Slurs were the better team. They played a tougher schedule, lost two games by a total of 5 points, and had a better defense statistically.

They also had the best special teams unit in the league that year too.

I really think it boils down to not having a dominant personality. They won 3 Super Bowls in 9 years, yet it's forgotten. If Dexter Manley hadn't fallen out of control, it probably would have been him.

I don’t put any teams post cap and free agency (93) on the list because teams don’t have the depth they used to

The last truly great teams were the Cowboys in the early 90’s

If you're comparing the distance between the 90's Cowboys and their competition, that may be a greater gap than the great teams today have over their competition, but the teams today would beat thoese 80's 49er's and 90's Cowboys teams. I know many will disagree, but the players for the most part are bigger and faster today, and you're average second string player in better as well.

I don’t buy that the players are better today. Fundamentals especially on defense are awful.

Those Cowboy teams were loaded on both sides of the ball

In today’s game you can only afford to keep a few great players and a lot of times only the qb

The Pats have nearly won Super Bowls with the leagues worst ranked defense because it’s only really about the qb anymore

Brady alone makes the Pats contenders every year. Back in the day you needed more then just a great qb. Look
At Marino
