Stuntman. Welcome to 2004 :wow: Calling Foley a glorified stuntman is an insult to one of the most diverse and popular talents the WWE has ever had - which knowing you is what you were going for. Mick's not going to do what Buh Buh Ray Dudley did and step to him (even though he had every right to because The Rock was being a reckless a$$hole in that match) because he's too nice of a guy. The Rock eventually did apologize to Mick too so let's keep that in mind.

Mick Foley was never going to be the next Bret Hart, HBK, or Kurt Angle but he easily took advantage of what talents he did have: creating and taking creative, incredible bumps, and some of the best, most heart felt promos of all time. Foley easily had the mind to structure a match perfectly to get the most out of these big moves, and utilized his great match psychology and selling to tell a story with each new move. While the extreme bumps drew in the casual fan, the story behind every match is what made Mick Foley such a great wrestler and far from a glorified stuntman. And who helped turn the tide in the Monday Night War once and for all? Mick Foley. It wasn't The Rock - even though he was facing The Rock - nobody was tuning in for him that night. They were tuning in to see Foley win the gold.

Have a nice day.

@Riley Escobar - you getting some rep when it comes back.

Nah, he was too busy being looked over by the doctors after receiving 11 unprotected chairshots to the head, 6 of which were unplanned

You really are delusional, and your levels of stannery go so far whenever someone says something even remotely negative about your surrogate father figure

Bizarre behaviour

Calling The Rock a great worker and citing his popularity as evidence is like calling One Direction or Justin Bieber great musicians

Or like calling Adam Sandler a great actor

Or like calling Jackson Pollock a great artist

Or like calling J.K Rowling a great writer

"extremely popular" != "great"

The Rock was a good worker overall. Arguably better than he needed to be, given how over he was. Occasionally he could be very good. Occasionally he could be quite bad (moreso outside of his prime, which is understandable).

But only someone truly delusional would say that his in-ring work was on a par with someone like, say, Ricky Steamboat.

Who are these mythical 5 star match workers? They must be dead because no one ever talks of them.
John Cena can't even throw a punch right and you're talking about him having anything close to a 5 star match? shyt, Rey Mysterio only has one 5 star match. Cena hasn't had anything close except for the RVD and maybe the Punk match even though they both botched too much for that to be a reality. The storyline was 5 stars but the match? Nah...

5 Star Sunday is here:yes:
00171694.0001.gif

Looking at Bryan's 5 star performances just makes me laugh about Kofi Kingston. He's just a lazy jumping jack nygga in the game who is being outworked by 5 guys his age. What a sucker:laugh: A settler. Goofy b*stard. .lol

Bryan and Rollins about to put on a REAL 5 Star match...GET READY:evil:

I was being sarcastic..I've never seen a 5 Star match from CM Punk and DAMN SURE haven't seen anything close to a 5 star match from John Cena, Riley the Dapper. MITB match had miscues, timing issues, and pacing being off at times. Meltzer loved the story of the match and how Punk went over to justify his promo work so he overrated the match, as you would expect when you think you've seen something dynamic.

Just saw the Cesaro/Sami match from NXT Arrival. .......excellent fukking match. Great sight for him and kid to get that ovation. Can't wait to see Sami come up and joins Bryan/Cesaro/Rollins in these near 5 star affairs. One day.....ONE DAY....it's be Bryan vs Cesaro vs Sami Z in a 5 star Triple Threat....bet on it:yes:

You don't know what you're talking about..Knox was having 5 star matches at 20. Great submission and technical wrestler.

Sasha had almost two back to back 5 star matches. Lol. Becky definitely was the best performer at WM though after I rematched it.

Becky lynch and aasha banks have two classics but rey mysterio has one great match over a nearly 30 year career :laff: worst poster of tsc for real :dead:

Dwayne was alright.

Charismatic guy, but alright in the ring. He would put on a good match, but in no way was he some great worker.

Rock didn't even visit him after the match either.
