Nobody cares about personal time with your families.
It's all about squeezing a few extra dollars out of peoples' pockets.
It wouldn't surprise me if some lunatic shoots up one of these stores.

There are 363 other days during the year that you can shop on. Seriously, I fail to see the need for 1 more.
The same folks going out these days are the same ones that look down on folks in third world countries who occasionally have food riots or big government protests. We make a sick quasi-holiday out of our yearly stampede for shyt.

This is America. Capitalism at its finest.these evil corporations forcing you to leave your house, get in your car, drive to their stores, spend your money on Thanksgiving.
The big picture is that these execs are not working but they are forcing a lower working class to labor when that class should be at home with their families on these holidays. These the same companies that will not dish out Health Benefits.....

Eh, it's not like NOBODY works on Holidays so I wouldn't call it unfair unless people are being forced to do it and there are some people that don't mind because they need the money or whatever. When I worked in retail, I worked holidays with no problem. Time and a half and I still saw my fam once I got off.
Also Holidays are the same time every year. You don't want to work? Request off early and give them plenty of notice. Once your request is approved, management can suck ass. I put in my end of the year time off early September.

its sad. I remember when you never saw stores open on holidays. Then over the years they started creeping up with the early store openings the next day, then creeping up to midnight openings, now they opening on holidays
