Soulless consumers who'd rather be purchasing shyt than spending time w/ fam are the reason these stores stay open on those days
Who Cares? Why The Outrage?
why even bother to reply? Obviously this doesn't sit well with a large number of Americans
I Came In To See What The Problem Was About, Then Lent My Thoughts, Isnt That What We're Here For?
Why Does It Bother You Is What I Wanna Know
Obviously you are not able to see large picture.
Employees are now forced to work on Thanksgiving and that is the reason for the outrage. If you are scheduled to work on Thanksgiving you better show up for your shift or you may not have a job the next day. Most of the employees would rather be with their families instead of being forced to work to keep their jobs. Not to mention the execs that's calling the shots would not dare work a weekend day let alone work a holiday. Same execs will not provide health care to these low waged employees.
When people talk about family values they forget that means you actually spend time with your family. As a nation we need to take back our holidays, and I don't mean just Thanksgiving, I mean Easter, Christmas, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day. These are days to remember loved ones and celebrate the time you have with those still here.
