To me, I feel like this means all of the other teams have an operating profit of $100M or more. They can do shady shyt that GB can't do because they're publicly owned.

I wish they did a line item report. That would be fascinating.

What do you mean?

They still have auditors if they are private and still have to obey the law. GB will do whatever they can do, that's legal, to optimize their finances. :dahell:

GB is one of the biggest and financially most successful, they are likely in the upper half as far as finances goes. Which is reasonable when you look at valuation of the teams and even more so when adjusting for the fact that some of the most valuable are there cause they are in places where billionaires want to live. But have major debts and shyt like that like Rams and Vegas

That's actually a good profit all things considered and perhaps I am wrong here Green Bay being publicly owned probably has expenses other teams don't have.

Auditors are not the angels you're making them out to be. There's all sorts of stories you can Google about them to confirm it. The big 4 auditors work for the companies who pay them. Wanna know how I know? Before the Enron scandal went down it used to be a big 5. The auditors job is to make sure the numbers that are presented to the IRS are rock solid if investigated while also not being the complete truth. The NFL is full of private companies. Green Bay is a non-profit so there's limits to the things they can do according to their charter.

It is illegal, which is why AA doesn’t exist anymore. Other than that, there’s bad people in all businesses. You are making an assumption that auditors are criminals to make your point, you might as well make an assumption that GBs FO are criminals…

As far as it being a non-profit org affects their taxes, positively, and shareholders rights not so much operating profit. Furthermore, this is operating profit not bottom line, it’s usually between those two lines where most “funny” stuff happens. Minus valuation ofc, but that’s irrelevant as they do not pay dividend, so there’s really no reason to not have the best possible balance sheet valuation. And as for the other teams, it’s the same there. Cash flows is all that matters, cause you’re the sole stockholder.
