I'm sure Conway is trying to leave Shady to sign with Roc. Of course the label is holding him back.

:mjlol:
You don’t even know what you’re talking about. Conway can sign to Roc nation today if he wanted to. One has nothing to do with the other. I can’t believe that this needs to be explained to you..

Again, Please explain in detail what Roc Nation did for Griselda. I don’t want you to wait for anyone else to chime in, I want YOU to explain.
Thanks in advance

Griselda is in exactly the lane they aimed to be in & they shouldn’t change a thing. Not everybody aspires to be a superstar of the mainstream variety. That would totally compromise their sound and movement.
WSG complains about nobody buying his shyt.

In my opinion he should be asking his management that question.

Not one BET award nomination this year, yet he got mad last year when they were nominated, and Shady didn’t mention anything about the nomination.

Aside from Megan the Stallion, what are Roc Nation really doing for their artists careers?

Still mad Eminem ruined that Conway track Bang. Conway went in so hard over that beat and then Em just ruins it with his bullshyt verse. Shoulda just threw Benny on there and called it a day :skip:

I get that he couldn't use the Budden lines, but why did he change the beat around and rewrite other parts of the verse? I can’t even listen to the released version after Conway's verse. :hhh:

Con still there? What happened to all the people before like stat quo, Bobby Fischer, etc?
Conway has 1 album to drop then he's bouncing like wsg did

He should sign to Psychopathic records after
Conway was never signed to Shady as an artist. He has a distribution deal and not a label deal.

But definitely almost everyone that has had label deals with Shady has ended up with not much to show for it.

This is exactly what I’ve said every time this subject is discussed. Griselda appeal to a niche market. If they ever want to break out of that, the need to work with artists that can give them mainstream appeal.

They even shot themselves in the foot by disrespecting Eminem and his fans, and you know the latter are loyal and would support anything associated to Eminem.
I think Griselda is just fine. Benny and Conway are each breaking out in their own ways (Benny with the albums with Hit-Boy and Harry Fraud; Conway with the shift in production as well as rapping with JID and other non-goon rappers), and they're doing great.

They'll never be mainstream in the way that Drake or Kendrick are mainstream, but they also aren't aspiring to that.

I think trying to step outside their lane more at a more drastic pace than what they've been doing would be trying too hard, and would definitely alienate their fan base. Hell, they've already made moves that have annoyed a few of their extra super crusty boom bap or die fans.

They performed at the BET awards. That’s as mainstream they will get like Tyler. That song Scattered Brain by Con ft JID and Luda is dope. I want a nice balance of modern and throwback production from Griselda. I say this as a younger fan who loves and appreciates the golden era too as much as today’s production.
