there are about 4-5 tracks on that album i will usually skip but come on bruh it's still a great album.

yea it was hyped to the heavens but when that coin drops and what up gangsta hits the rush is undeniable. you know that album had you mesmerized.

bet most ppl in here shytting on it could recite all the lyrics from the album front to back.

ehh. i never rocked with that album like that. it was hotter stuff out back then and it was a dropoff from g-unit's underground stuff. aside from banks, they got corny to me when they went to aftermath.

it was pretty obvious how this album was gonna be perceived by serious listeners in the future. hell, most serious listeners back then already knew what it was.

man I really enjoyed g units aftermath run the first year or so. to me they didn't get corny til around 06-07 and then by 08-09 was when they were solidified Larry Holmes status.

you might be right about get rich. some of it doesn't really hold up well. (I think a lot of it does though)

may not be a timeless classic but it had a solid lifespan. i bet a lot of ppl had that album in regular rotation for close to 5 years.

hot albums but not classic at all. it was more of a classic event/moment than an actual classic album. take away the hype & propaganda and it ranks no higher than say freeway's debut.

as for the thead title, theres albums from aftermath alone that are more overrated tho.

at least GRODT had a movement.

Get rich is most definitely a classic album. I like it now more than I did back then. Excellent mixing, hooks, and production. Holds up much better than a lot of albums back then
