He chases the homer too much, but his talent makes up for it. Volpe looks as lost and in his own head as gallo did by mid 2022

There’s that lack of concern the organization has about striking out. They don’t seem to care to work on this stuff. Put the ball in play. I don’t expect to see in this day and age guys striking out as little as Donnie, Boggs, or Gwynn, but it feels like everyone on the team is on pace for 150+ strikeouts per 162 and that’s not ok if you’re not hitting close to .300 with a .370+ OBP to go with it.
