I check my phone while I’m at dinner and it’s 6-0. Then I check again and it’s 9-4. Then it’s 12-10. That’s probably the worst loss in a decade. I’m looking at the box score. The new relievers gave up 4, 2, and 3 runs while the new batter had a 9th inning error that let a run score and put the winning run in scoring position. How does one even begin to explain this one? 9 runs allowed by the pen
