No the fukk it wasn’t...greatest thing that ever happened to me was when they closed hillcrest and I was able to move to regular Bond Hill...wasn’t shyt good about that I literally moved to the hood and thought we came up like the Jefferson’s.

Above the fray.
All the bullshyt aside you knew everyone in whatever court or building from day 1. shyts like a big extended family. Even growing up you can remember what building you're from and where you built from. :salute: to all my fellow project babys
If you believe that, then why'd you move out....Havoc?

they tore down the housing where I grew up, I cant even go back to reminisce :mjcry:

But I feel what Op is saying, you knew everyone. we had common bb/courts and a giant field and all the kids knew fkd w/each other. every summer was crazy

corner store where all the kids would go early in the am and drive the owner nuts :russ:

No thanks... I enjoyed climbing the giant tree in my big back yard growing up...

only 12 homes on your block is pretty much the highest value American living you can get.

Growing up around different people is the goat experience. We used to knock people out for being from the projects.

Growing up around different people is the goat experience. .
I grew up on military bases. Not only was I around different people (since some of everyone joins the military) I was in different countries as well

It was very interesting...living in a different state/country every 3-4 years. As a result, I don't have those lifelong bonds that other have given that they grew up in one neighborhood.
