The only advantage I can see is making you mentally stronger but you can also get that as a kid if you play sports so

nikkas really need to stop thinking growing up in poverty is a good thing.

Growing up in poverty is a great motivator to improve yourself.

Look at them privileged CACs with their parents money who turn drug addicts and kill themselves. They aint got nothing better to do because theyre already financially stable and party all day.

it's funny how people will claim that black people have associated poverty with blackness

yet all people here are doing is expanding that it's beyond said poverty




They tore my child hood projects down and replaced them with housing plus I'm grown now and can look back on where I came from. Some of y'all nighas a bit :mjpls: in here lowkey.

My thoughts exactly. First time traveling to a third world country, seeing family's living in shanty's, happy to just have a roof over their heads changed my perspective of "poverty" in America.
