Yes he was caping for Cousins...but that was more than likely because he made the decision to bench RG3.

While Cousins isn't a NFL caliber starting QB...he gives the Redskins a much better chance at winning.

The problem is he just can't play from the pocket so the team can't move the ball consistently

Its not a lazy talking point. If you watch and pay attention to games, I don't see how you can even ask that question. If you can't see it, then it's no need for me to even try to explain. It's THAT obvious IMO.

You're contradicting yourself. On one hand you say cousins isnt starting material but on the other end you say you would start colt. What you're saying is no different than what the local media is saying, people have been driving the narative that cousins is the best on the roster when clearly that isnt true.

The narative that gruden & mcvey put out through the media was kirk had the better handle of the offense but during camp & ota's gruden said robert did things to impress him & the coaching staff. Problem was it wasnt translating to games.

This is how gruden pulled it off: Everyone was on board with robert starting the season & gruden sneaky azz used his concussion has an excuse to start kirk. He then put out a bunch of "off the record" messages to local beat reporters & writers on how robert & colt couldnt run his offense and then BOOM, we have the narrative "kirk is the best qb on the roster, etc" And for 6 weeks you got fans using the same narrative. Where was this talk in training camp, gruden pulled the wool over peoples eyes but you cant hide the truth and its biting him the azz by a guy name cousins...

And the the 16 mil doesnt matter that much. Gruden wanted to cut RGIII & snyder and allen said NO. Prove to us kirk is THE GUY, we're not sold and now we all see why. There is a good chance both robert & colt are back & gruden & kirk are gone...

I agree with your analysis. You just forgot to mention that RG3 also takes an endless amount of sacks, doesn't go through progressions and can't read defenses.

Kirk is a turnover machine BUT he is the better QB...while being weak himself.

Better yet go watch every preseason game & tell me kirk is better than colt. That BS rebuttal that you & so many people like you keep giving that "kirk is the best on the roster, he gives us the best chance to win" statement is gone stale. @ anyone thinking Bob is coming back to Washington after this year. It's too toxic with the fans and local media for it to work now. If his people were smart he'd go to Arizona and work under Arians, but he'll probably end up in Philly or Dallas like everyone thinks. The kid has the basic tools he's just got hurt and he got coaches who gave up on him too easily.
