I highly doubt it, people have been sorely disappointed with Playstation racing games for the longest and with Forza out now, people will flock to the Xbox one.

Yup. GT isn't really that popular. I mean look at this.

You basically strip out the rest of the world, a few PS1 titles and PS2 titles and they're neck and neck in sales. Playstanleys won't admit it's on par with Forza though..

According to y'all's logic the popularity of a franchise is dependant on sales of an individual title, therefore you shouldn't even be bringing up that 70mil cumulative number

No I just brought it up to show how stupid it is to compare them. Halo's cumalative number is increasing yet it's popularity is dwindling but that doesn't matter, Halo is the best thing.

Unfortunately yes it does.

You actually have to fight to keep the car under control. You can feel when the tires loose grip individually. With the rumble triggers you can feel when the breaks lock up or when the tires are spinning, therefore you can take the car to its limits just by using feel. These limits are different with each car as they should be and the rumble triggers help to enhance those differences in a tangible way.

Just like driving a real super car, any loss of concentration means you will loose control of the car. There is a constant sense of danger and excitement in the Forza games that is just not there in the GT series.

my question would be, what makes GT6 more than a glorified GT5 DLC/Expansion?

to be clear, I would ask that of many franchises that release iterations as separate games (COD, Madden, etc)
