Isn't buying resources that are normally farmed or accumulated through hours of grinding and or skill through Online transactions considered the "Pay2Win" model?

I guess in this case it's just money and you can't really buy anything specific that would give you a significant edge over a player with little to no money of their own, just cosmetic shyt like cribs and cars...yeah, you right.

Yeah it's not necessarily pay2win. You still have to unlock a lot of the stuff you can buy(weapons, car parts, etc.) But it's still a micro-transaction model so people will shy away from it.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Is 10 mill (The highest paid package you can cop...lest you do it MORE than once :damn:) even that much in the GTA Online Universe? Unless they fixed the exploits it's like every other week dudes found a way to rack up millions in a few hours exploiting some glitch or loophole until they fixed it...and then someone found another. shyt definitely ain't worth it...but you know how some dudes be.:shaq2:
it's never the people paying $100... like in any retail establishment.. most of the high priced stuff costs that much, cause it's worth that much

it's not the 4k tv that costs 5000 to buy and sells for 5200... and you might sell 1 a month

it's the hdmi cords that cost 25 cent to buy and sells for 19.99 and you sell 10k of them a month... shyt gas stations make no money off the gas.. they make all the money off marking you up on candy and soda in the store

same thing here... people online are saying "ehhhhh what's 99 cents, what's 4.99, what's 9.99... shyt i got paid today and at least i'm not out spending it right?"

they probably get a few hundred thousand of those sales a week.. easy money

Hopefully they invest a lot in online

Games still feels empty to me

GTA 5 would be the perfect multiplayer game if they made the open multiplayer world more objective based like APB. Next EXACTLY like APB because APB is overall garbage, but the concept/blueprint is there

Great....GTA as a single player game is pretty much done in that case.

Also, Leslie Benzies just sued Take Two for $150M

Former Rockstar North head sues company for $150M in unpaid royalties (update)

Leslie Benzies, former president of Rockstar North and one of the lead producers on the Grand Theft Auto games, is suing Take-Two Interactive for $150 million in unpaid royalties, alleging that the company tried to force him out after he took a sabbatical.

Reports that Benzies had left the company emerged in January, following a sabbatical that began in September 2014. But according to a statement provided by Christopher Bakes, partner at the law firm Locke Lorde LLP, "while on sabbatical, Mr. Benzies discovered numerous deceptions on the part of Take-Two, Rockstar, Rockstar North Ltd, Sam Houser and Dan Houser, who sought to force him out of the company and terminate his portion of royalty payments based upon arbitrary actions by the company's royalty Allocation Committee, a committee that may or may not have actually ever met."

These alleged deceptions, according to Bakes, include unpaid royalties worth over $150 million. The lawsuit specifically cites the "mounting resentments" of Sam Houser, one of the co-founders of Rockstar Games, which allegedly led to Benzies' denial of compensation and eventual ousting.

...

In the statement detailing his legal complaint, Benzies' contract with and payment from Take-Two was said to be identical to that of the Housers until his departure.

...

Benzies tells it differently. In the statement about the lawsuit, he claims to have attempted to return to work on April 1, 2015, only to find that his key had been deactiviated.

"After being let inside by building security, Mr. Benzies was then ordered to leave by the Rockstar North office manager without reason,"
according to the statement.

Well I know alot of dudes who make enough bank to justify buying said transactions but it all snowballs into mad profits 'cause as you said, you only really thinking about you and your justification for getting it sometimes without realizing that alot of people share that sentiment. I don't know why I thought it would be much different with GTA online, though 'cause it's like when the game came out TONS of people were doing these glitches and collecting mad bank.

I thought that's why they gave out that stimulus package of a couple mill 'cause they raised the prices on simple shyt...but then again I had to remember when this game came out they were promising them heists mission for like FOREVER and that was a fortune cookie type bone to not have dudes who were on the fence with Online keep around.:lolbron: shyt..I need to jump back online, them wave type shoot out games were fun as hell back then.
