As an east coast dude....I used to front on Gucci....He got out....took out his fronts....easier to listen....started paying attention to the releases more

Gave this jawn a spin....hooked...like shocked at myself....I was like THIS is the album that you would use to introduce dudes to Gucci since he has like 800 tapes....

Then I hop in hear an read the comments....

So I ask...what is the Gucci album to give an all around Gucci Mane experience

Album's pretty cool. Gucci's got some dope verses, Offset killed his feature. All the features delivered.

As for the beats, I like them. They are not as good as "Savage Mode." They have very minimal qualities. Metro is not being ambitious. The beats all feel very simple, which would be better for an MC more talented with the bars than Gucci. I mean, Gucci is a pretty good rapper. But it's not a bad thing when the beats overpower Gucci

That being said, Metro's "meh" beats are better than 99 percent of other producers IMO.

I like this more than East Atlanta Santa, I still having listened to Woptober but Drop Top Wop is his best project to me since his release

It's like him and Metro sat in the studio listening to Wilt Chamberlain, Mr. Perfect, No Pad No Pencil, EA Sportscenter, etc. and this is the result
