Not after awhile , I use to smoke weed everyday for almost a year and that shyt got outta control , I don't think I was ever soberdrugs are cool tho
Some of his fans were calling him "real" though... When in reality those twitter rants etc. were probably just the drugs talking 
Glad he knows better now and is better though
Hope he'll stay positive and understands the reason(s) why he became an addict in the first place (whatever those are). And it cant be easy to stay off drugs or alcohol in the rap game, especially in the beginning of soberity if the people around you are using/drinking
