If the was a hand of poker I'd say microsoft should Bet at 499 and call sony,

At launch it was be crazy to get a ps5 if they both are 499, the only tipping point now is TLOU2 will probably drop with "enhancements" on PS5 that people will feel its worth to cop the system for.

I feel like Sony would still come out on top due to name recognition at the same price point. At $100 less they might run away with the generation again but I expect Microsoft to give them a hell of a run next gen.

The key to Microsoft's success next gen will be what their new studios manage to develop rather than stronger hardware. Exclusive games are the key to a stronger brand name and it's been the only thing holding Microsoft back since they stepped in the race.
