Pretty much. I get hardcore fans not buying NOC or Battleground because they build for those shows were horrible and not worth the money.
But Summerslam had the two biggest IWC darlings in 2 huge matches and for the most part, they still didn't buy the show. That's kinda unacceptable if you are a big fan of Punk or Bryan, IMO
Wwe does not market to its real iwc.
They appease casuals and demean the ability to tap into the fans who can create a boom.

so, the majnstream attraction to hulk was connected to everything a kid viewed as being an adult.

Scsa, was a draw to kids because it was edgy and mature.
To the point adults were rabid about it.
Thus, the trickle down effect to the draw and boom of the attitude era.
Now, there is no adult mainstream interest because they took the edge off the last star.

Then reverted cena into hogun as a face.
After hogun as a face was a dead draw from the rocknroll era, type character for cena.
Which is all why this product will continue to operate in up and down drawing fashion.
