We don't care :gucci: I wanted to see him kill everyone that he loved and eventually make Frankenstein hunt him and then at the end the old maid, Mary Shelley leaves him as he is dying to fetch water and come back to see the monster crying over Frankenstein.

This movie is why I question y'all taste and the dikk sucking of Ryan Coogler on this board.

Y'all have shytty taste in films:francis:
:russ:you're right, though the monster in this movie was too soft. In the book, he was shown to be every bit as evil as Stein was, but in this movie, they were doing too much with making the monster into this weird tragic superhero-like character while overdoing how evil Stein was.

it's weird, i'm always excited about Del Toro projects and i'm always whelmed by them. i love the dude himself and i love his mind, but his actual movies are always ok. the shyt he never makes always sounds so much better than the shyt he actually makes. still think the 2 Hellboys are better than everything that came after. wasn't excited for this, but ended up really liking it. Elordi was as advertised, dude killed it
i like his movies, but i also agree with your whelmed sentiment a bit. but for me his spanish language films are so far superior it's crazy.

8/10 very beautiful to see on screen, inspired by Mary Shelley but then ventured on its own path.

I how the dudes in that ship made a business decision and let the monster in the cabin, instead of continuing being picked off.

Warner bros version next year
