No way Rodgers would be what he is w/o Favre. If u notice, dude even mimics Favre's walk. He didnt walk like that @ Cal. His throwing mechanics are even similar. He learned a lot on the bench. He was robotic as hell @ Cal.

Tom Clements also has a lot to do with it.

Good morning grandpa.the first thing he said?

What a disrespectful little fakkit.

Wonder what Aaron's response would be when his replacement gets there and says that, the way he's playing that won't be too long from happening
Cali brehs are different tho man.

Not caping for Rodgers but they were rivals and completely different people.

Favre had his old boy network cheerleading squad with Nall, Pederson.

:mjlol: aye man not for nothing but Rodgers was like 21 at that time, I'm surprised Favre's tight butt couldnt just laugh that one off.

@FAH1223 you should throw something about Favre/A-Rod in the thread title, a lot of folks are probably missing out

Hmmm, this doesn't seem to have any bias at all.

Pearlman is talking about Favre almost in the same vein as he used to write about Kareem.

Never heard of him, but if Favre isn't there, I think he woulda been a bust

He was the QB Coach for Favre and Rodgers starting in 2006.

He and McCarthy got Favre to cut his interceptions down (but we know its not how many, its when he throws them :francis: )

Clements coached Rodgers up through McCarthy's offseason QB school and cleaned up the Tedford tendencies.

He's the Associate HC now.

Both Favre and Rodgers were wrong...

Rodgers just did too much...very "effboyish" stuff, but ultimately harmless...

Favre was the "big dog" on the block and acted like it. SMH. If they could have been cool, man, that would've been crazy...

Funny stories tho. My outlook on both changed with this story lol...
In reality I'm not sure how or why they would be cool. Just logically speaking. Rodgers was literally drafted to take Favre's job.

The things that Rodgers does that makes him exceptional, u don't teach. U don't see the Favre influence? He Kobe/MJ'd Favre. Its so obvious in some of his mannerisms.

im not denying that, Rodgers took a lot from Favre just by watching

But Clements cleaned up the mechanics, footwork, ball placement when throwing compared to how he was at Cal

Hey OP did you catch part 1 yesterday with Farve's rookie year.

If anyone read part 1 Rodgers got off easy Bret knew he could've done a whole lot worse to him.

If you thought the whole Incognito/Martin shyt was something the offensive linemen on the 90/91 Falcons where way much worse to rookies. It was on some real demonic gay shyt.

But one thing I did hate how Farve treated Rodgers was when Bret was a rookie he had Rodgers cockiness but none of Rodgers discipline.
