I think she's one of the better pop songwriters in the industry.

Her voice is average, yeah, but she has a keen ear for good production, a non-threatening look, and she's willing to experiment with different sounds and concepts in her projects (successfully).

When you take all of that into account, it's not hard to see why she stands out as top dawg.

I can't name a better pop artist that came along post-Bad MJ that I'd consider to be better than her (I'd consider Beyonce to be more R&B than Pop).
