My main issue with Royce was the victim mentality. If he wanted it to strictly be a lyrical exercise basically he shouldn’t have taken the shots he took in his song he released. You can’t push a man and get mad when he punches you in the face and claim you was just playing around which is essentially what happened. He had no leg to stand on after Lupe’s track saying it didn’t expect it to be a diss.

Royce has never been good to me. Granted he could rap but he just seem corny.

Basically, they just hadn't agreed on how to format it.

There were suggestions to do it URL style, I think Lupe felt like having no judges just leaves it up to stans deciding who's the winner, so he wanted to do it more open mic, EODUB style. Then it's like hey..why not just put something together independently ect.

Then here come Lux and Mook instigating, suggesting Royce was trying to bait Lupe ect. I think they just wanted to try and get two mainstream cats to come to their platform. Now ALL of that is dead. Wasn't worth it because not only did we not get more of the pod or a collab, both them nikkas came out looking wack to me for different reasons.
