None of that counters what I said if you look at the actual data. Not denying, especially these silicon valley companies, have an issue with hiring of black folks but like I said, according to their data, 9% of their corporate employees are black while around 3% of the tech portion is black. Numbers need to be higher no doubt but like I said if they have the opportunity to lay off folks, you think they aren't looking to probably firing a good chunk of the few they do have?
Also this issue in general isn't just about Uber or just silicon valley as its a common tactic in Tech companies country wide, where maybe even more black folks are employed.
