you can't compare these guys to people like kem & mint condition. and i don't know what you mean by crossing over. do you mean making popular mainstream r&b records? hi-five & h-town already did that bruh. they weren't underground or anything like that - altho h-town was on an independent label in their prime. hi-five & h-town were amongst the top name groups in their respective eras. they already did that dog.

tony faded cuz of his drug problems tho. he had signed to bad boy right before he went off the deep end. he would've been the face of bad boy r&b during the big bad boy run, and beyond.

It's really fukked up how Dino died. I knew he was dead but I didn't know all the details. The fact that he made that "Day I Die" song not to long before that is ominous to say the least.

I am actually surprised he went on there. Usually when label heads, managers etc. do an artist dirty they either don't comment or issue some standard statement. This nikka went on there and actually tried to spin that shyt .

i dont know why devante can't get it together. I would love to see him producing r and b again. The game needs some real r and b producers right now.

im neutral on this.

relativity shoulda thought about all that when they gave them creative control.

on the other hand, i feel like ladies edition showed total disregard towards their fanbase. you cant just do a complete 360 like that. they couldve did alot of "they like it slow" type joints and everybody wouldve been happy. but the label shouldve kept promoting the ladies edition album, instead of just tossingmore money at them in hopes of getting another "beggin after dark".

lol @ dino bangin on the president tho. chit like this is why there arent many real ninjas in the industry anymore. theyve been replaced with plants.

great follow-up to a classic track.
