What's even more puzzling is if Sony can't do anything about it. Like a multi-billion dollar company is at the whim of a bunch of punk ass nerds looking to ruin Christmas for millions?
Aint much you can do when it's a DDoS attack.

It's nothing you can really do besides DDoS protection services like CloudFlare and in that event, the site just goes down, which is the point of the attack: temporarily suspend service. It's one of those things you have to ride out. What's even more puzzling is if Sony can't do anything about it. Cool. Well I guess I should lower my anticipation for Christmas significantly, because if there's nothing Sony can do about it and this group is serious, I won't be able to play my system till New Year's day the earliest.
Oh well, at least there's Cavs vs Warriors
How long it will be down is the key. Nobodys safe.
And i do believe they will pull that bullshyt again.![]()
I think people are also giving them a little too much credit. They know that during Christmas week they will have millions of consoles coming online for the first time along with everyone else being on vacation and playing games that will cause a strain on the system. So all they need to do is add a little more data to an already congested system and it will go down.
If they were really skilled they would take it down on a normal week.
Aren't there good guy hackers who can take them out before hand
