Only reason to have cameras IN your home is if you’re worried about the activities someone may be doing in your home (i.e. a babysitter, creepy/shady relative, cleaning lady etc). My first recourse would be to keto such people out of my home to begin with, but I could understand some wanting assurances even when they think they’re good.

Folks need to understand they are putting spy devices in their home. These companies are passively collecting data and footage of you even if they are not actively monitoring you. I only keep a camera facing the door to see someone if they break in. Never towards any living spaces.
