Nas comedic timing and wit is low key underrated. Rarely readily apparent in songs , but in informal settings it’s often apparent .

ehhh it ain’t like it was a 100 mill dollar movie. It was pretty low budget in the grand scheme of things and x was the hottest thing in hip hop.

Naw, at the time he got casted, X wasn’t ON yet. I remember him being just another rapper in the background they spoke to during an old interview back in the day before he had an album out, and he mentioned he had a movie he was working on (which of course was Belly).
