duncan is inferior both offensively and defensively, but somehow people thinks he's better than dream
TD got more All Defensive teams, made All Defense at 39, got a higher defensive rating than Hakeem and higher defensive win shares.:mindblown:

Duncan made 13 straight All Defensive teams. How the fukk is he inferior:dahell:

He won more and accomplished more yet he's the inferior player? Nah fukk that:pacspit:

so if your arguing duncan is better than akeem at 39 fine so be it.

Again duncan is an all time big no one is taking that away but he isn't dream.

13 straight all defensive teams is great until you remember there's only 1 spot for C's and dream had to compete with that spot against the likes of kareem, moses, ewing, parish, shaq, d rob from the beginning to the end of his career.

Duncan had 2 chances to make the all nba team with their being 2 F spots. Imagine if it was 1 spot, and he competed for that spot every year with garnett. How many all defensive teams would he had made then. context breh

Exactly, both ends of the floor Hakeem washes Duncan. On top of that he's more athletic and skilled.
Which Olajuwon are we talking about? His early career or his mid career? His early career was nothing but dunking and off ball block shots. His game was very limited. People are only memorializing the early to mid 90's Olajuwon.

Drake been the highest selling rapper for a few years now. MC Hammer sold a bunch of records. People voted for Trump too. Thats my only takeaway from this thread.

I mentioned the 40pt example to illustrate Duncan was not an elite scorer. No possible way you can even be considered if you only scored over 40pt 9 times in your whole career. Ppl claiming that they are similar on the offensive end but Hakeem was a much better scorer thus him having more high scoring games in one season than Duncan in is WHOLE CAREER(also Hakeem is higher on the scoring list than Duncan even with the injuries that kept him out long periods of time). Hell Duncan isn't even the best scoring big man on the Spurs, David Robinson got that tittle. So offensively, Hakeem is just better.

Defensively, Hakeem is number 1 in blocks, has 2 Defensive POY, and 8th all time in steals. Duncan has more 1st team all defense but that is at the PF spot not center plus there wasn't any defensive big men other than KG and Wallace (Camby even got 1st team in that era).

Hakeem lead the league in Rebounds twice with Barkley and Rodman in the league. Hakeem is one of 4 players in NBA history to record a quadruple double and he done it TWICE.

I understand if you want to say 5>2 but I seen those 2 titles and those 2 titles were 2 of the top greatest runs by any player in the NBA. I'm not going to ignore the fact that Duncan always had an allstar and/or HOF on his team while Hakeem never even played with an Allstar Guard (Drexler wasn't an allstar by the time he went to Houston)

Hakeem shot more than TD. That doesnt equate to being a more domimant scorer
