Lebron stans: Duncan
Kobe fans: Hakeem

Smart people: Hakeem

Its all about legacy agendas in basketball now. All opinions are extremely biased now.

TD is in both top 10 all time in both blocks and rebounds, matter of fact he's the only PF that's top 10 in both categories :jbhmm:

Duncan played in an era with no big men yet KG, Dirk, CWebb, Amare, Yao, Rasheed/Ben Wallace didnt exist :martin:

Hakeem had 5 straight first round playoff exits yet he's the dominant one :gucci:

It's a gang of muthafukkas with more 40 point games than Duncan :aicmon:. I guess Dominique Wilkins was more dominant than TD now :heh:

This technique, is called the Straw man argument.

- A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent.

Spurs won 20 games the year before Tim got there :dahell:

His 2 best teammates in his career were drafted 29th and 57th in their respective drafts

I dont think the Spurs picked higher than 28th in the draft his whole career

How does that sound like a perfect situation :dwillhuh:

Because David Robinson ony played 6 games that season... Lol

The year before, with a healthy admiral they went 59-23

:camby:

Are you a lebron fan? Because just like ESPN, yall fail to provide context

That is the point, he didn't dominate them where as Hakeem did

He did dominate them and besides shaq was head and shoulders above the rest he outplayed prime shaq in 99

He gave dirk the business in 01

Dominated the entire league in 03 and had one of the greatest finals of all time that year

Hell old man Duncan was giving bosh that work Duncan has rarely ever been outplayed the only one who has had him in a matchup has been shaq and even then a lot of those battles were draws

Dream played better than shaq but he didn't kill him

Now Ewing and D.rob on the other hand:hubie: he burnt them nikkas alive shyt was ugly but Duncan has had matchups vs dirk, shaq and kg where he was just as dominant

Being dominant is more than just scoring 40 a game, Ben Wallace and russel were dominant and they weren't great scorers

Duncan averaged 25 15 5 and 5 in the 03 finals one of the most dominant finals series of all time
I mentioned the 40pt example to illustrate Duncan was not an elite scorer. No possible way you can even be considered if you only scored over 40pt 9 times in your whole career. Ppl claiming that they are similar on the offensive end but Hakeem was a much better scorer thus him having more high scoring games in one season than Duncan in is WHOLE CAREER(also Hakeem is higher on the scoring list than Duncan even with the injuries that kept him out long periods of time). Hell Duncan isn't even the best scoring big man on the Spurs, David Robinson got that tittle. So offensively, Hakeem is just better.

Defensively, Hakeem is number 1 in blocks, has 2 Defensive POY, and 8th all time in steals. Duncan has more 1st team all defense but that is at the PF spot not center plus there wasn't any defensive big men other than KG and Wallace (Camby even got 1st team in that era).

Hakeem lead the league in Rebounds twice with Barkley and Rodman in the league. Hakeem is one of 4 players in NBA history to record a quadruple double and he done it TWICE.

I understand if you want to say 5>2 but I seen those 2 titles and those 2 titles were 2 of the top greatest runs by any player in the NBA. I'm not going to ignore the fact that Duncan always had an allstar and/or HOF on his team while Hakeem never even played with an Allstar Guard (Drexler wasn't an allstar by the time he went to Houston)

I don't say 5>2 I think judging off rings is stupid it's a team game if dream was drafted to the lakers or celtics he'd have more rings than Jordan still wouldn't make him a better player on the flip side of that people have started to overrate Duncan's teammates go back and look at that 03 run there were no other all stars d.rob was on his last leg Parker was a baby in the league and ginobli wasn't on the radar jack5 was the spurs second best scorer Duncan balled the fukk put that year in similar fashion to Hakeem during his runs I'm not saying Duncan is better but people are acting as tho dream is worlds apart from him and that's simply not true
