He's the reason they never missed the playoffs:takedat:

Show me what championships were won before Timothy Theodore Duncan arrived in the scene:hubie:

Show me Gregg Popovich coaching record before Tim got there :hubie:

How come we ain't hear about this system before Duncan?:hubie:

Pop was a wanna-be Larry Brown before Timmy started wrecking shop:hubie:

They helped one another out.

Pop was only coach a year before Tim Duncan got there.

David Robinson hardly played that season as well.

Pop & Duncan goes hand in hand.

You one of them I got to be right cats huh...you know DAMN well that those other cats were beneficiaries of the system. The Admiral was a generational talent like Duncan but I'm going to let you cook :hhh:
I'm not saying DRob wasn't great he was. He just wasn't that same player post injury when Tim was there

The Admiral from 98-03 is not the Admiral from 89-97:yeshrug:

First of all, shut up Scottie, no one was 10 times better than Timmy.

With that said, Akeem is better in all aspects to me. Don't hold it against him because he didn't have the luxury of playing in a HOF system with Pop. Talent for talent, skill for skill, Dream.
Agreed but why you callin him Akeem?:dahell:

Hakeem dominated in a Era that including Shaq, David Robinson, Mourning, Ewing, and Mutombo.

Thread.

Duncan had to go against prime diesel shaq and saw plenty of mutumbo also. Along with all the other great power forwards of his era.

Dream has plenty of longevity too bruh. Aint like I'm shytting on him in anyway cause from 84/85 to 99 he was an impact player for his team but with Duncan you know you are going to win 50 plus games and go the playoffs every season.
Nah with that SYSTEM he played in combined with the players he played with, you know you're going to win 50+ and the playoffs. They just won 61 games without him this season. :hubie:

System my ass. Kawhi led them to 61 wins. System wasn't hitting on shyt when he got hurt:beli:

Just like Tim led them to all them 50 win seasons:rudy:

How Pop system do in 2000 as the defending champs without TD for the playoffs:camby:

Duncan only because his championship run was longer

Sucks for Hakeem that Sampson couldn't have stayed healthy.

Splitting hairs though. Not really sure why :sadbron:is generally rated higher than both either:camby:

I think his title run was longer because of the system Duncan was playing in. hell, look at since he's retired, they've won 60+ games.
