System my ass. Kawhi led them to 61 wins. System wasn't hitting on shyt when he got hurt:beli:

Just like Tim led them to all them 50 win seasons:rudy:

How Pop system do in 2000 as the defending champs without TD for the playoffs:camby:
Okay system your ass, doesn't matter. That system is the main reason for their success. In 2000 he was the star player genius, so without your star player 9/10 you'll falter in the playoffs, the same with Kawhi in 2017. I don't believe you used that as an example to further prove how wrong you are. Sit down.

Yeah cause that same system has been so wildly successful for LaMarcus Aldrige:mjlol:

I'm going with Hakeem as the better player but it's close as hell. Hakeem just had the extra level compared to Duncan. Duncan had it but didn't hit it that often. But Hakeem, Dirk, and Duncan had the best carry jobs in the playoffs I've seen.

Plus I give Hakeem the edge just due to his athleticism on defense just covered so much ground and he was so disruptive. On offense I actually think it's really close skill wise just that Hakeem was more of an attacker.

They said plug any all star big man in Duncan's spot and they do the same thing. Cause its all about the system.
Aldridge's numbers have fallen off a cliff. Gasol hasn't amounted to shyt.

So hakeems the goat big man but only has 3 finals appearances in 18 years?? He never had to go against Jordan so why only 3 finals appearances?
The west was tough when he was in his prime:dahell:. He had to face the Magic led Lakers up until 91 and by then you had the Sonics, Jazz, Spurs, Run-TMC Warriors and the Trailblazers...

Jordan had the Cavs, Old-ish Pistons teams and then The Knicks which he should've had no trouble against. You can say the Magic, but they only had shaq for what? 4 years and MJ was only around for 3 of those iirc

Edit: Kenny Smith even explained why on Open Court. He said that they struggled against Seattle, but always beat the Jazz(or it was the other way...)

Duncan had to go against prime diesel shaq and saw plenty of mutumbo also. Along with all the other great power forwards of his era.
Hakeem abused a Diesel that was in his athletic prime circa Orlando. He also abused all those great centers I mentioned and also all the great power forwards of the 90s. People forget Hakeem was only 6'11.

Footwork 100
Jumpshot 100
Agility 100
Athleticism 100
Handle 100
Durability 100
Speed 100

Those would be Hakeems 2k numbers today.
