Even when I did play it with a ton of ppl, it didn't trump H2 imo. Especially since the made the pistol less powerful.

Online play has nothing to do with the actual gameplay....n its an irrelevant argument now with h1 comin to xbl....the pistol is the best starting weapon in halo history....they ruined it in every game after h1....its your preference tho...everyone eats this yr

Those custom game memories where 2 players would be captain, one red, one blue, other 6 go green, just like picking teams to play pick up ball at the park :wow:

The level design was a baby, then it became a man in H2.
The gameplay, while I agree to a degree.. It was also less to explore
And just like as a kid, you would put more into a game back then. I think Halo 1 benefits from that a lil bit
Almost a nostalgia thing. A circumstance thing. It was epic because it was all we had
Halo 2 we had so many options, I KNOW that is why H2 online is the better game.
Now H1, if they expanded on what it brought to the table, then that would have been better than H2
But that didn't happen.

That pistol was a handgun that would double as a sniper. Too powerful.

Respectfully....u dont know wat u r talking about...im also not gonna convince as to why halo 1 is regarded as the best halo multiplayer game....youre wrong about map design, the pistol n whatever else u think u know....enjoy the mcc when it drops

I spent more than enough hours playing Halo 1, and the world agrees with me about which one was better
Most of the world didn't even play H1 outside of split screen, but general sheep opinion (and media) is H2

Unpopular on here where the majority of yall halo experience is campaign (especially h1)....look at any halo site or the popular sites like neogaf....ce is king....i dont blame u for having your opinion, but it comes from not being as experienced with halo or as knowledgeable....thats just real rap
