Seeing what happened to Canibus in real time was amazing. Dude came outta nowhere and was running the underground with the freestyles and features. He was on all the mixtapes. Everybody just knew him and DMX had next. He even got into it with a legend and held his own. He was on his way to being one of the goats before he even dropped an album. But then the album dropped and that nikka has been a footnote ever since

canibus was simply wrong crew, wrong time, wrong place. used to stan him hard but his inability to find a lane was puzzling as hell.

I think these are bad example these ppl 5+ years runs. Happens to 98% of artist. They hit a high and never hit those numbers again (i.e. GRODT,) especially wit the whole streaming/mixtape/limewire era. I think drake and eminem that have continue to do high numbers
