I was going out with this one girl for a while. Was still a virgin at the time so I was simping hardcore. Took her and her friends out for her birthday. Paid for dinner, drinks etc. At the end of the night took her home. Asked if I could go inside and she barely gave me a kiss. One of her homegirls hit me up the next day with a guilty conscious and told me the reason she didnt invite me in is she had some dikk lined up and homie was on his way. All in all I paid around $600 only to have Julio come over and give her the dikk.
Lesson learned.

I gained like 40 lbs in a single semester in my sophomore year of college (Jan - May)
Weed + Late Night Food + PS3 + No roommates = 40 lbs gained for a grand total of 275lbs
I couldn't find dress pants that fit me. I'd wear sweats everywhere
I'd walk down the steps and be out of breath
Skipping on social functions cause my self esteem was shot. I missed on some prime college fun because I felt a shell of my former self
I've since lost about ~30 but I gotta get to 200 and put a bow on it. The struggle is even harder with a 9-5 but I'm pushing through

Ain't that the truth. And it's the reason why so many of the Ls in this thread are about women.
A couple of years ago, was about to go on a vacation with this chick who I had deep feelings for. Just me and her, tropical destination, for a couple of weeks. She's the one that suggested the trip, and she'd even suggested we share a bed together (I hadn't smashed by this point, which was already an L). Perfect. A couple days before the flight she tells me she didn't feel anything for me. Just straight up told me she there wasn't anything between us, and nothing will ever come of it. Nada. And she didn't tell me face to face, or even on the phone. Chick did it by email. A fukking email. Damn near sounded like a lawyer wrote it too. I woke up to that email, and my expression was just:
I had taken time off work during a stressful period, and spent dinero on the flights (thankfully I'd just paid for mine). What's more, I had really imagined a future with this girl. I ended up going on the vacation by myself anyway, and spent the whole time in a daze wondering why she flipped on me. I just couldn't understand why. I really thought she was ideal for me. The stress that these women can put us through... shyt hit me hard, and it coincided with some difficulties at work too, so had me questioning myself and everything. Was a real low point for me. The thoughts I had about myself, no self-respecting man should think or feel.
Then I realised all the signs that I missed. Reflected on the situation. Learned from it, focused on myself, and was ultimately thankful that I had avoided someone so insincere. And at least she pulled that shyt a few months in and not a few years in. Since then I've been killing it on all levels, and am more successful (professionally) than ever.
I'd taken Ls before, but this one legit changed the way I viewed women. I still think about what happened between me and her, but I try not to dwell on it. I stopped believing in a lot of the ideals I used to, and that's pretty sad.

It’s a ton of black people that can’t swim plus I live in North Louisiana there ain’t too many swim instructors out here.
Damn Id really advise you to learn it, wont even take long and swimming is great
