In this time:
Exactly. Food was all organic. People were more active. How many fat kids or sloppy looking people do you see? Go to harlem now all you see is fat cacs and nikkas wearing smedium dipset shirts and dresses. :heh:

The food we eat nowadays is definitely messing with the way we're supposed to look & as well as our general health. People are getting diseases like cancer from all these chemicals in everything, I mean how many people actually had cancer in the 1940s? :wtf:

It's truly so :demonic: that we don't know what we're eating anymore

Those were some beautiful pictures. Makes me wonder what was their mindset back then? Just seeing kids playing outside. No Facebook or tablets to keep them distracted. Seeing the kids watch their parents cook. Just imagining how the couples were more stable and strong. Cause all we had was us back then. Just pure black excellence.

Not a weave in sight :ohlawd:
 Dude, it's six pictures...calm down.[DOUBLEPOST=1397400756][/DOUBLEPOST]
This is awkward, but also an interesting discussions.

When blacks say that, most mean that American blacks were more united and there was less self-hate, even though stuff like the conk hairstyle proves otherwise.

Then we have dumbass comments made by whites like that Duck Dynasty guy saying we were happier and had less problems before Civil Rights laws.
Point being; it's not true and the ppl who say it are as "self hating" as the "hair hatted hooligans" they decry.

I am so tired of coli black folks complaining about today and crying for a time they didnt live in.

Straight disrespecting the work it took to get here.

Really? We're fantasizing over 67 year old pictures?

I could go on, but; this is thecoli, where the entire black communitiy is fractured.

All the women are whores (except our mommas). All the boys are homosexual, in jail or broke (except our immedicate families). smh

STOP COMPLAINING AND MAKE A MOVE, YO!

Ya'll read pathetic

@Stuntone I've been meaning to address guys like you, thecoli Black Suffrage Movement.

Y'all sit comfy, on your computers and smartphones and cry about how hard it is and was for black ppl. You sit healithy, not maimed nor harmed by the struggle. You sit able to peacefully to reflect or even violently remember. But, you still sit--hence why I marked out "Movement."

Yes, we've suffered in this country, but, no differ than scores of groups around this world and throughout history. But, don't spit on the graves of those who've forced this govt to do better by us. We got far to go, but, don't act like we aren't in a better place, while u are able brag about how much u making and the financial freedom you've earned.

Stop that defentist attitude of "There Is No Savior For Black People." That's ludicrious and disrespecful to those wbove fought foe us to have what we have now!

It can be better, but, will only be when we start moving like those before us, who had far less than we did.

I can't stand all this complaining about Afro-American life, here!

Relfect, yes, we need it. But, we need to stop being blinded by discontent and selfishness and forget where we were...

It ain't hopeless and you are proof, my brother, THAT IT AINT.

Like Pac said; WHAT YOU LOOKIN SAD FOR? YOU BLACK AND HAVE NOTHING THING WORRY ABOUT, SMILE!

Except even back then, the conk hairstyle was always seen as a product of self-hate. So issues like this have always been a thing.

If you're just talking about happiness, I never agreed to pre-Civil Rights blacks being happier. Just because I correctly interpreted what Hiphoplives4eva meant doesn't mean I agree.

My point is simple; don't upload 12 pictures, decry modern Afro-Americans and completely forget the context of the time.
