Has a city ever been ethered like Philly ?

I don't need to Philly to be this big popping glamorous city. The experience, wit, slickness and fast hustling lifestyle you get coming from here outweighs all of that.

Being from a fast, hustling and bustling city like Philly...you can go ANYWHERE in the country and be aiight

But anyone from around the country can't just come here and be aiight

but life/hustin'/street smarts no comparison....i went to Temple and got two educations shyts real out there.....had mad people come down from nyc and be like damn this is like Bronx 88'

Philly is like a big/small town if that makes any sense very neighborhood oriented and its definitely about getting connects cause opportunities arent as vast as say NYC.....

Trust me playa' ive been doing philly nightlife for a minute you were still trying to find people to buy beer for you...I used to promote back in like 02'

Philly glory days as far as nightlife have been gone....deleware ave is a ghosttown it used to be soooooooooooo poppin'





Tampa has ybor city and other clubs...honestly a lot of cities in Florida are poppin...i used to visit my fam in Tampa since i was a teen it was always a great time...

and Atlanta shyts on Philly.....strip clubs alone
the only thing that messed atlanta up was they cut back the closing times..

and yes im talking about more than just club clubs im talking about bars, lounges, activities to do etc..

someone please tell me the 1 popppin club in philly...just 1...don't worry i'll wait..

the only 1 that is remotely poppin is z bar and it's cause its an after hours spot.....if this thread was made like 10 years ago then yea...now philly is a former shadow of itself

Xfinity live, (it gets crowded especially for games its iiight tho' not a going out on a friday, saturday spot more for sporting events

2nd and chestnut got a bunch right besides each other (Mint 1st thursdays is latin night my boy promotes it now it used to be every thursday when i promoted other than that old city...maybe the old club heat or moda but not really poppin its all lounges/bars

all in all there aren't any marquis spots in philly for nightlife everything is pretty much hit or miss...

my biggest gripe with the city is lack of social activities...would be dope to a sports complex by the river like a go-cart, batting cages, golf range, miniature golf spot ....there are none in the entire city!

stuff like that is what the city is missing like all there is to do is eat and drink i want shyt to do

I went to cuba libre about a month ago and it was some nice spanish mami's in there.. i love mami's

Yea they got a batting cage on city line past the wendy right before upper darby.. Its ok.. But they got one on cottman ave thats real nice mini golf driving rage and batting cage...

and yea that area around the sugar house has so much potential but the unions are all in the way....

if they developed all along the river it would push Philly to top 10 status if not higher easily

Id put the complex i was talking about....also a better outdoor theatre....maybe a mini amusement/boardwalk type section a la sea side heights ......shops/stores/restaurants kinda like south street seaport in nyc...

would be sooooo dope
