No.
We also need a return to traditional dancehall and reggae..this new trap dancehall is disgusting and shows how negative influences can travel far and wide.

Was a totally stupid and unnecessary remark to make..
Its always Nigerians that dont get along with anyone anywhere and rub people the wrong way with their selfish insensitive remarks..not all, but many are just users.

Has this trend died down? :jbhmm:

No :mjlol:

Dancehall used to treat Afrobeats like it's little cousin. I go to parties in Jamaica every year. Been going since 2011. And even if they play 1-3 Afrobeats songs per party, that's great, they show love and all before getting back to the riddims

Tell me why the last few years they play dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, gospel, even the occasional white rock tune... Everything BUT Afrobeats :pachaha:

They'll even go out their way to play songs and not play the remixes with Burna on them. Or play a P Square riddim and not play the original artist...

They feel threatened but the time to do that was years ago. Afrobeats way ahead. For now at least. Let's see if Vybz can motivate the next generation. It's all love either way :pachaha:

ion know. i hear less and less afrobeats played on the popular radio stations now. a few years ago, afrobeats was all over the major urban stations. not even sure what the top tunes are now.
