Can yall provide some examples?
I've been able to fix mad shyt that was going wrong with my car because of AI, it helps me me with diagnostics, providing step by step instructions and a gameplan to isolate issues

It has helped me with keeping up with my finances and budget.

And also something more general is that I'm able to become more versed in any topic I want.

I actually don't use it for work like that but in my personal life it's been excellent

we won't reach that for quite some time, esp with quantum computing coming up next.

quantum computers cannot solve general computing problems [edit: using QC].

they can only solve linear problems.

and for that matter problems which decompose into indicative probabilities.

i'm guessing again you do not know how they work.

It legit makes learning fun and interactive.

I was on ChatGPT last night just going on and on and about pregnancy and childbirth.

I learn some new things and it put shyt into context for me.

Yes, people will mindlessly use it. Some ppl won't.

It's a great tool.
Yup, I learn shyt about other countries and cultures too and go down scientific rabbit holes like :lupe:

shyt is way better than mindlessly scrolling Twitter or TikTok

It can't solve the traveling salesman problem? :lupe:

Quantum computing won’t magically make AI "smarter," but it may make certain computational bottlenecks (like optimization or matrix operations) much faster if we can build stable, large-enough quantum hardware. Think accelerator, not replacement.

no they are not.

you have hit a context and parameter wall of diminishing returns.

:hubie:

What you're missing is this is irrelevant to the fact that it's already passed the minimum effective level of manipulating people

I'm not talking about people in a thread on a message board who consume and constantly interpret the ebbs and flows of AI development, I'm talking about the people that laugh at Facebook memes and watch 4 hours of pop the balloon videos every week

the operations in QC occur in superposition. then you collapse that into a single value per qbit (range). how would QC solve matrix multiplication if you cannot access the values without collapsing the state?

certain optimisation problems work because they map to indicative probabilities like I said. hill climbing for example.

breh. i am not having some hackneyed half-way-house non-fact based convo.

this takes time. and that would be a waste of it.
