it is dumb logic. you're basically saying "what's another invasive product to add into your house"
brand cape? if ps4 tried to put out a mandatory always on camera in the ps4, i wouldn't have purchased it. NSA is already started using kinect to spy on users w/o consent, why would any sane individual welcome that type of product into their home willingly? im worried cameras w/kinect technology will one day be mandatory in all homes.
well for one, you're comparing devices that simply have mics and cameras to something that has facial/voice recognition. it tracks facial expressions, your heart rate, can even recognize other brand products in your home. it's also capable of advertising products it's heard you discuss in casual conversation.
i mean, the camera has to face you in order to work. how do you compare that to a phone that's usually sitting in my pocket or on a charger. my computer doesn't have a webcam either, so miss me w/that bullshyt.
like i said, your logic is basically "what's one more dikk to take up the ass", and a lot of consumers are just not interested in that choice.

nikka.....You being slow...I don't own a one and don't plan on buying one and don't give a fat baby's ass if it doesn't move another unit.......Now point out in any of my posts in this thread where I'm campaigning for the Xbox one.....All I said is that the tech for the kinect is a potential game changer for the future......and Apple agrees

not only have I never met anyone who ever bought the kinect for the 360, but I never even heard anyone ever talk about it..ever
I mean its pretty much the sole reason they rode out the $500 price tag, even offering inferior specs to the PS4 which was $100 less. Did some executive high up really sit in his chair spinning around on someI aint worried bout the PS4 being less expensive and more powerful, we'll kill em with the kinect
they really riding this shyt to the death of em.. no one can possibly think another xbox will ever come out again, right? This is Dream Cast status.. If they would of made a kinect less version for $350 they'd be hand in hand with PS4 in sales.. $50 less money for a less quality product, makes sense.. right ? I mean makes sense to everyone not in the xbox executive offices
It's called ARROGANCE. Extreme Arrogance that your product can control the market place. This was probably the dumbest move they could have done because it increased their system's debut price. I mean the roll out was stupid as fukk too, PR nightmare, but that Kintec...you are tying your entire system's future to what is an optional gimmick. So is it worth the extra 100 bucks.....NO.
there aren't many useful kinect game mechanic to make games out of. they wanted that snitchboxt in every console because it's the perfect tool to gain marketing data.

Thats because they thought it was a AAA Dark Souls esque PS4 exclusive. A free to play game is disappointing in comparison - people still love free stuff.
