50 probably making more off sms than he would music anyway , and sms is why his album isn't coming out

This is a real bad excuse. He doesn't run SMS himself nor does he build the head phones himself.

And honestly, no one is rocking them. I've NEVER seen anyone out here rocking a pair, ever. I'd be surprised if more than 5 people on this board can quote me and say they see people rocking them.

he started a company to compete with his bosses' current biggest money maker, its not an excuse

regardless of how many people rock them he still should have stayed out of that arena if he wanted to keep dropping albums

Like starting G-Unit records was competing with Aftermath Records?

And starting G-Unit clothing was competing with Shady Clothing?

Why is it this venture, which has no chance touching Beats, all the sudden stopping him putting out an album?

If I recall, Breaking Bad came and went without 50 dropping an album :deadrose:

No, when 50 Cent sold records it put money in Dre's pocket so it would make sense for him to want 50 Cent to sell records. His artists make money for 50 Cent and Interscope/Iovine. Look at the booklets, breh.

What makes you think SMS makes more money than Shady Clothing did when wiggers everywhere were rocking Shady clothing in the early 2000s but NO ONE rocks SMS headphones, anywhere.

Yeah because Dr Dre is lazy as fukk and 50 Cent is a hustler. Right now on Aftermath records there is Kendrick Lamar and......? I guess that Eminem album fell under Aftermath but that's Eminem. Had 50 Cent not burned so many bridges there is a possibility that Buck and Banks could have decent enough careers to where his label was putting out more music than Aftermath.

Curtis Jackson....Elite Artists? :russ: @gator_king got jokes.

Really though, 50 put himself in that diddy lane intentionally or not, his personality became a bigger draw than his music & these are the consequences.

50 doing that SMS shyt was the nail in the coffin

G Unit records wasn't in competition with Shady or Aftermath, G Unit was under them so it's a good chance out of G Unit, Aftermath, and Interscope, G-Unit saw the least amount of profit off G Unit record sales

Far as clothing lines, no clue how that works but Shady wasn't that big of a clothing line anyway and Em didn't go hard with promoting it

Whatever few dollars G Unit clothing made didn't mean much to Dre and Em because they were already rich as hell before 50 and was already caking from his music sales

But for him to go into direct competition with Beats instead of helping promote beats itself was a big contributor to his downfall

Crazy how he the one who brought the 48 to the public and was such an advocate he did a book with the nikka who created it

Then he turns around and violated the very first law: Never Outshine The Master

Prolly woulda made a lot more money getting down with Beats than going into competition with them and wouldn't be on damn near blackball status

Dre was really doing records with Ross while Ross and 50 were beefing and even showed up at Ross' birthday party with a $100k watch for him

That shyt was a message to 50
